Came BX

The CAME BX sliding gate motor series offer models available in two different versions – with a 24 V power supply (BX 246 and BX 243) and a 230 V power supply (BX 74 and BX 78). These motors differ in terms of their application. BX 243 has been adjusted to small gates for residential use. BX 246 has more engine power and a 24 V power supply, which makes it suitable for bigger (up to 600 kg) and more frequently used gates. 230 V motors (BX 74 and BX 78) are recommended for residential use only. BX motors offer solutions tailored to a variety of control and security demands. Each CAME motor complies with European standards and guarantees dependabilitydurability and comfort.

Apart from basic security and control functions, the integrated control board allows the user to markedly improve and optimize gate’s performance. These functions include but are not limited to:

  • partial opening of the gate for pedestrian traffic
  • autocoding between the transmitter and the receiver
  • adjustable warning lights
  • amperometric obstacle detection
  • remote control
  • synchronising two seperate motors (“master/slave function”)

Accessories for BX motor series:profil przesuwu_en

  • External antenna which increases radio coverage and can be affixed on a warning light
  • LED warning light in a classic KIARO or modern DADOO version
  • Digital keypad: 1- and 2-channel S6001, S6002, S7001, S7002 wire modules either in a flush mounted or surface mounted version. The motors are also compatible with the wireless S9000 keypad. These accessories can be mounted on pillars.
  • Key switch SET-E (surface mounted) oraz SET-I (flush mounted).
These accessories can be mounted on pillars.
  • First line of phototubes [Delta-E and Delta-I] are the photoelectic cells protecting the user during the opening of the leaf. These devices are mounted directly on the brick posts or on the mounting components at a height of 30-40 cm above the ground. It also feasible to separate the lines of phototubes in order to program different functions for each line.
  • Second and third line of phototubes [Delta-E and Delta-I] are the photoelectric cells protecting the users during the closing of the leaf. These devices are usually mounted on aluminium posts.
  • Aluminium posts DOC-L are intended for montage of the second and third phototube line or for access control accessories.
  • Battery power supply module with accumulators in a compact casing resembling a control board’s casing. This solution is possible only with a 24V power supply. It enables the use of a motor even in case of a power outage.
  • Optical safety edge(CAME DF) is a perfect solution for high pedestrian traffic areas. Safety edges are completely flexible and deformable, which ensures maximum security.
  • Gear rack is available in two versions: a nylon rack with steel core (for gates weighing up to 700 kg) and a steel rack (for even heavier gates). Each cantilever of the sliding gate is placed on a gate trolley.

Wiring, which must be taken into account before setting up the control board, motors and accessories, should be matched to individual lengths of different electric installations. One should also check if an underground wire can be installed. The recommended depth for most power cables is 70 cm. A warning foil should be placed several cm above the cable. In case of placing the cables closer to the surface it is recommended that they are encircled by a protective conduit and that proper documentation is made. The table below shows cable arrangements and combinations of cables that may be utilized. Previously selected elements of the set should be taken into consideration when selecting the cabling.
